Spring
As the winter season winds down, Goulburn Mulwaree becomes a hub of activity with plenty of events on offer. The Annual Tallong Apple Day Festival is a must-attend event in the region. This festival, which takes place in mid-September annually, is a celebration of all things apple. With live music, kids’ activities and plenty of delicious apple treats, you can be sure to have a great time. This is an excellent event to attend as a family or with friends.

Summer
Summer is when Goulburn Mulwaree truly comes alive, with an array of festivals, events and outdoor activities. In early January, New Year's Day Races take place at the Goulburn Racecourse. This iconic racing event features thoroughbred racing and plenty of activities for kids, making it perfect for families. Later in the month, the Bronte Lagoon Fishing Competition takes place, where anglers can compete for prizes while enjoying the great outdoors.

For music lovers, the Australian Blues Music Festival held in late February is an event that you cannot afford to miss. This three-day festival is a celebration of blues music and features local and international talent. Besides music, the festival also offers plenty of stalls selling food, drinks, and souvenirs.

Autumn
As the leaves of trees begin to change colour, Goulburn Mulwaree continues to offer an array of exciting events. In March, head to the Goulburn Showground to enjoy the Goulburn Show which is a celebration of agriculture in the local area. There are show rides, food vendors, and a fireworks display to round off the festivities.

Furthermore, there is the Crookwell Potato Festival which is held annually in early May in the nearby town of Crookwell. This festival celebrates the humble spud with cooking competitions, potato peeling championships, live music and much more.

Winter
As temperatures drop, Goulburn Mulwaree still has plenty to offer visitors. The Goulburn Winter Solstice is celebrated in late June each year. Visitors to this event can enjoy live music and a bonfire while also being immersed in a rich cultural experience that celebrates the winter solstice.

In July, the Taralga Art Show takes place where you can enjoy over 300 pieces of artwork from local artists. In addition to art displays, there are also music performances, wine tastings and plenty of sweets and savouries.

Finally, there is the Goulburn Lilac City Festival in August which is an annual event that has been running for almost 70 years. This event celebrates all things Goulburn with music performances, street parades, dancing shows and much more.
